Year 6

Mrs A Whitley

Teacher (USA)

My interests: I love spending time and going out with my family and friends, particularly my little girl. Sport also plays a big part in my life and I play football, usually in defence, for Northop Hall Ladies FC and I am also the Captain. Going to the gym is something else that I really enjoy and I support Liverpool. This is my 20th year in teaching and my favourite subjects to teach are PE and Maths.

A fun fact about me: When I was younger I was a mascot for Liverpool and I walked onto the pitch with John Barnes, who is my all time favourite player.

Mr J Kelly

Teacher (Egypt)

My interests: Family and friends are very important to me and I spend lots of time with them, as well as my bright orange cat: Clyde. One of my favourite pastimes is playing football and I am also an avid Liverpool supporter. Apart from sport, I also love all types of music and love to visit new places around the world when I can. I’ve been a teacher for 6 years now and I particularly enjoy teaching English and reading the wide array of outstanding stories that the children in my class create.

Mrs S Choi

Teaching Assistant (Egypt)

My Interests: I love spending time with my family (and extended family) and friends. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, swimming and Zumba. I have been a teaching assistant for over 7 years at Meadow.

A fun fact about me: In 2013 and 2014, I swam 1.5km (60 lengths of EPSV pool) for Swimathon charities.

Mrs R Whyte

Teaching Assistant (USA)

My interests: I enjoy the outdoors, walking and run to keep fit.

Fun fact about me: I lead the singing when we stay over at Burwardsley

Miss M Ward

Teaching Assistant (Egypt/ USA)

My interests: I love to exercise and swimming is my favourite activity, which is why I went on to qualify to be a swim teacher. I am sure a lot of you have seen me working during swim lessons at the local sports centre.

I love to bake when I have the time, as well as going on walks and I especially love going on walks in the Lake District.

I have a dog called Loki, he is a chocolate and tan English Cocker Spaniel. He is very loving and playful but he can be very mischievous. You’ll probably see me out walking him with my mum.

Fun fact about me: I won a competition designing Christmas Cards for WWF (World Wildlife Fund) when I was younger and the cards got printed and sold around the world.
